Harold Bohorquez is a Venezuelan-American writer/director obsessed with stories of raw emotion, intimate family dynamics, and new-age imagery. A self-taught filmmaker, he first grew his audience through a series of video essays before expanding into narrative shorts, commercials, and branded films.
His work centers on working-class characters, surrogate families, and the strange emotional worlds we build to cope with life. In 2025, Harold was selected by Creator Camp and Patreon as a grant recipient for his short film Zulian Pretzel, which premiered alongside twelve other creators in the inaugural Creator Camp Film Festival.
Since then, Harold has begun development on his first feature film through his production company, Zulian Group. He is currently based in Austin, Texas.
